Wisconsin Expungement

criminal records

The term "criminal records" is misleading. The better term is "public records." Criminal records are public court records that include a person's past misdemeanor and felony convictions. However, those same records also include civil actions such as divorce, collection actions and injunctions for money, replevins and evictions.

The Wisconsin Circuit Court records can be accessed via the Internet.

When a criminal record is expunged, it will no longer appear on CCAP.
